It installed fine and did all of the suggested updates but then it asked me to install a proprietary driver for my video. About what driver to use, well, any of those will have the same effects, the choppiness comes from using compiz with 3d effects, that's not well handled either by Nvidia or ATI drivers (in most cases that is). like the rest of the folks on here i got fed up with windows so i tried linux mint 12 because of a friends recommendation.
